The Edinbane community took delivery of its defibrillator in April this year and a large number of local residents turned up for the valuable CPR and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) training provided. The defibrillator has been installed outside the newly refurbished Edinbane Inn. Locals were delighted not only to receive the defibrillator but also to get the opportunity to gain some valuable life-saving training. Not only was the training interesting: it was delivered in a laid-back, humorous way, which made it informative and enjoyable.
Edinbane's residents are well aware of how great an asset this is to the village due to its rural location.Given the defibrillator's location at the Inn, it only seemed right that a toast was had by some to celebrate it being installed! A donation was made to Lucky2bhere towards the cost of the defibrillator from some of the wind farm proceeds that Edinbane Community Company now receives.
