Would you know what to do if someone’s heart suddenly stopped beating?
Resuscitation Council (UK) is determined to teach young people essential life-saving skills through Lifesaver and Lifesaver VR – a free game-in-a-film that allows viewers to step into an emergency situation and learn crucial life-saving skills.
Lifesaver provides cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) instructions and feedback in a real-time scenario, and it shows the ease of using a defibrillator to boost learning and confidence in saving lives. There are four scenarios to learn from, including content on what to do if someone is choking, how to do CPR, and how to use a defibrillator.
Lifesaver VR is an immersive experience that throws you into the situation where someone is having a cardiac arrest - make the right choices to save a life. You learn by doing - do it wrong, you see the consequences; do it right you sense the thrill of saving a life.
Lifesaver games can be played anytime, anywhere on a mobile phone, tablet or computer and are available free via the App Store and Google Play.
