Who We Are
Lucky2Bhere was established in 2007 by Ross Cowie who had experienced a cardiac arrest and was lucky in that an ambulance was nearby on the evening of the arrest and was able to use lifesaving equipment in their possession. As a result of his experience he decided to raise funds to purchase a defibrillator for the Skye Camanachd Shinty Club in Portree.
What We Do
The main activity of Lucky2BHere is to place defibrillators and deliver emergency life support training to communities throughout Scotland. To date we have achieved this in numerous areas. These communities can take any form from sports clubs, rural villages, churches, businesses and many more. Irrespective of size, each one receives the same high level of service.

Equipment
Automated External Defibrillators (AED) are portable electronic devices that automatically diagnose and treat life threatening cardiac arrhythmias that cause cardiac arrest. Defibrillation is the application of electrical therapy which allows the heart to re-establish an effective rhythm and can save a life.

Training
Lucky2Bhere is committed to saving lives through education. Our Emergency Life Support Training offers members of the public the opportunity to gain the essential knowledge and skills required to take decisions and act in a life threatening emergency.
Healthy Living
Being active is the single best thing you can do for your health!
In fact being inactive has a worse effect on your health than smoking, diabetes and obesity all added together! Can everyone safely exercise? – well in terms of 30 minutes walking probably yes!
