Objectives
Saving Lives, Education and Health – Our vision for Scotland’s Communities
The objectives of Lucky2BHere come under three main headings. These are as follows:
Saving Lives –
through education and the provision of automated external defibrillators to empower communities to manage a situation when a medical emergency arises.
Education –
through engaging with communities, schools etc using current research-based Resuscitation Council (UK) guidelines for both public and instructors’ education.
Health –
Advancement of health by recognising medical emergencies and prevention of deterioration. Involvement in research focusing on aftercare for survivors, families and rescuers.
