Fundraising

With the support of ordinary people and communities across the country we have achieved over 1,000 public access defibrillators and trained over 5,000 people in emergency life support skills.

Fundraising

You too can take on the challenge to raise funds for a defibrillator in your area or help us raise awareness through education in schools and maintaining the skills of local communities.

You can raise funds in any way you like, we’ve seen charity football matches, golf tournaments, participation in races and all manner of personal challenges!  We have supported the Highland CrossSkye Half Marathon and many individual entrants along with a wide range of sporting events each year.

Some of the memorable challenges to date have been:

  • Donnie Nicolson & Robert Holding who participated in a race across the Gobi Desert
  • Graham & Toni (Team G&T) who cycled from Land’s End to John O’Groats
  • Western Isles Trainers organised a Generous Hearts Ball raising money for both Lucky2BHere and BHF
  • John Finlayson hosted a Boxing Day golf tournament with Willie Cowie coming out as winner
